Margaret Gabriel / Lost Baguette

Margaret’s collection of photographs highlights iconic monuments and landscapes for the wanderlust addicts and home bodies alike. Each photograph simultaneously celebrates its subject, while simply allowing the architecture to speak for itself. Our curator recommends styling a photography-focussed gallery wall with other landscape prints in complimentary colour ways. By Toronto-based photographer, Margaret Gabriel.

Is there anything more Parisian than a lone baguette, perfectly placed on the streets of Paris? The picturesque arch in the baguette juxtaposed with the stark industrial lines feels cinematic. It brings us back to moments roaming cobble stone streets in France, baguette and pastries nestled in our tote, taking in the beauty at every corner — it's in these moments where we're moving slowly enough to notice things like a lost baguette, where we notice the art in the every day.
