Allison Rietta is a Toronto-based abstract painter, working predominantly in watercolours and acrylics. Her paintings and collages explore mystic geometry, symbols and patterns. Her work is informed by her 23+ years as a graphic designer, and her spiritual practice of meditation and sound. Allison grew up in Toronto, Canada, and has lived and worked abroad in Germany, Italy, and the U.K. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Toronto and in New York and her work has been featured in British Vogue a number of times.
